about

Compiled and built upon first from guitar improvisations recorded in late December 2020 through early January 2021, this music has been mixed in binaural stereo, meaning that headphones are required to hear the spatiality inherent to this work. For these purposes, it is also recommended to download and play it back in its highest resolution.

To avoid possible vibe-killing gaps in the listening experience, this has been presented as one long track. For fun, and as a jumping-off point for the listener's imagination as they navigate these spaces, titles have been proposed for sections within:

0:00-3:30 pinegrid
3:31-12:34 branches, roots and streams
12:35-17:58 to give way
17:59-22:45 after the veil breaks
22:46-26:40 arrowhead lakeshore
26:41-27:59 magnetospheres
28:00-35:50 roots, streams and branches

All life is sentience
Awareness itself exists
Let us be guided by the unbounded

about

Arbouretum Baltimore, Maryland

Arbouretum has been called the best of the millennial classic rock bands. The band, founded by guitarist and vocalist Dave Heumann, effortlessly weaves its melodies & guitar solos with the often hypnotic rhythms of bassist Corey Allender & drummer Brian Carey around the deliberate keyboard of Matthew Pierce to lift the vocals. The result is a full sound delivered with a striking sense of intimacy. ... more
